Proudly NZ-owned and operated, with branches nationwide, Safeguard Storage is the go-to self-storage option for Kiwis - offering dry, secure, and affordable self-storage units.

Glasshouse Digital has been working with Safeguard Storage to execute their digital marketing campaigns since June 2019, when one branch was operational, to today, when their network of locations has grown to 29 branches nationwide - and they’re still growing!

The Challenge

The core objective of the campaigns has remained consistent throughout the business's growth, primarily increasing new customer numbers while maintaining healthy facility occupation numbers.

Additionally, building brand awareness has been a focus when a new branch is launched - especially in a new town where Safeguard Storage has not previously been present.

The Solution
  • As the focus of campaigns for Safeguard storage is heavily weighted to generating customer contact, we’ve utilised Google Search ads and, more recently, Google Performance Max to generate high-intention leads that convert into long-term customers.
  • Once launched, the campaigns are maintained under a rigorous weekly review process that ensures all settings are optimised. This ensures relevant traffic and leads are generated as efficiently as possible.
