Westlight Apartments

A high-rise development set in a prime position within Glen Eden featuring 165 one and two-bedroom apartments. 75 of the apartments were sold privately on the open market and 90 were allocated to community housing/ KiwiBuild. This project was the first project where we worked with Barfoot & Thompson Projects. We took over the advertising from another agency due to poor results generated. Since then, we have worked with Barfoot & Thompson Projects on a number of developments including Urbizen, The Ridge Mission Bay, Woodglen Ridge, The Green on Woodglen, Life Apartments, Maraetai Views, Seascape, Crest Apartments, 32 Shelly Beach Road, Albert Square and Library 27. 

We marketed the main building for the course of 13 months and then after the successful sell-down of the apartments, went on to market the townhouses associated with the project for the course of two months.

SCOPE OF WORK:

To build, manage and execute Google, Facebook & Instagram Campaigns 

Westlight Apartments - Development Project in Glen Eden

KEY OBJECTIVES:

  1. Increase brand awareness of the project 
  2. Drive lead generation

RESULTS (18th October 2019 - 3rd March 2021):

      1. Over the course of 15 months, the digital campaigns generated 1,237 leads and accounted for 70.59% of all new leads and 65.27% of all enquiries generated for the project.
      2. We obtained an average cost per lead of $28.62 throughout the campaign duration. 
      3. The Facebook and Instagram campaigns reached 239,616 people within the set targeting parameters through which we generated 25,104 link clicks directly to the website. 
      4. Across Facebook/ Instagram, we built over 76 campaigns and 181 ad variations as part of our continuous efforts to optimise these campaigns and ensure the best possible results. Over the duration of the campaigns, we tested a number of different variables including headlines, ad copy, targeting and creatives. 
      5. When we look at the Google campaigns, we generated 4,620 clicks and 145 conversions. 

The digital campaigns executed by Glasshouse Digital were an essential part of the Westlight Apartments marketing mix and aided in the successful completion and sell-down of this project.

OTHER KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

  1. After the success of this development, we have continued to work with Barfoot & Thompson Projects as a key partner across a number of other projects which include Urbizen, Life Apartments, Library 27, Rosier Park in Glen Eden, and The Green on Woodglen. The partnership started in 2019. 3 years later, we are their key/ main digital supplier for all development projects. 
  2. This was also our first key project working with Mansons TCLM and led to us running the marketing for another key project of theirs – Life Apartments.
